An initiative created to bring people together, share technical knowledge, and strengthen Microsoft communities across Brazil.
Azure Floripa was created in 2020, during the pandemic, when in-person meetings were no longer possible but the need to learn, exchange experiences, and keep the community connected became even greater.
The idea was simple: create a free, open space for practical conversations about Microsoft Azure, architecture, DevOps, security, and challenges found in real work.
Over time, the initiative moved beyond Florianópolis. People from different cities and states began joining the meetings, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the community.
This evolution led to Azure User Groups Brasil, expanding Azure Floripa’s original mission to connect, support, and strengthen Microsoft communities across the country.
First meetings

The first meetings were held live and online, free of charge, bringing together professionals, students, specialists, and people interested in learning from real experiences.

Beyond Florianópolis
While keeping the Azure Floripa name, the community began reaching participants, speakers, and contributors from different regions of Brazil.
